The second in Steele's series about a planet colonized by rebels from an authoritarian regime back on Earth.

The series continues and, once again, the time calculation errors detract from the overall story. I find myself bothered by this more in this, the second book in the series, than I was with the first book. It is doubtful at this point if I will read the third book.

This is a sequel to Coyote. Both books are very well done. Great character development that allows you to actually care about what happens to the people in the story, as opposed to some of the newer science fiction that is plot driven with nothing but action, action, action that leaves you wondering if the author is 13 or perhaps knows nothing about the world or the people in it.

This was a brilliant sequel to Coyote! I am looking forward to reading the third book in the trilogy to see what happens next on the frontier planet of Coyote.

This was a great book. Told of the resistance to the new governors of Coyote and how the founding townspeople left and hid to avoid the collectivism.

Unlike many sequels, this is a great story and well worth reading.

For fans of Coyote, this is a great continuation of the story. The world of Coyote comes alive and the characters are interesting. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

Second installment of the Coyote trilogy, but it manages to avoid that nothing-concluded-just-a-bridge trap of so many middle pieces.

Most characters from the first volume are back, plus a few new ones are introduced as the original settlers try to hold off the incursions of later arrivals determined to bring Earth's collectivism to the new planet and to win back the freedom they sought.
