I normally read book reviews for an author I've never read before. But this book, I ordered based on the premise alone. That was mistake number one. Mistake No. 2 was choosing to read this book, over another, more interesting one. And Mistake No. 3 was continuing to read this book even after the heroine got on my nerves after the 3rd page.
There were so many things wrong with this book. The plot affect of the main character "talking" to the audience was annoying, as was the weak-willed heroine. Weak heroines who REPEATEDLY let themselves get dumped on, then whine about it ... ugh, spare me.
Another thing was the Big Misunderstanding. Not a huge fan of those (especially if it's something that can be cleared up quickly with a face to face) but if they resolve themselves within a chapter or two, fine. The BM here went on until ALMOST THE LAST PAGE! Are you kidding me?
The hero kept talking about how he had never met anyone like the heroine; how she was strong, funny, sassy, and sexy. My book must have been missing all the chapters where she showed THOSE qualities.
And lastly, her hair seemed to be a minor character in and of itself. If you're so put together and want to be taken seriously, get a chemical straightener, invest in a good cut, invest in some awesome product but DO something other than complain on a near constant basis. Diana Ross hair doesn't even look good on Diana Ross!

I had a hard time getting into this book. The heroine kind of rambles on in the beginning, but once I got into it, I enjoyed the book. It's a cute story, been made into a movie, but I've read that the book is better.
There is another book written by the author about the sister of the heroine in this book and I'm looking forward to reading more about these characters.

The author, Cara Lockwood, has a wonderful way of writing that draws you in to this fun and interesting world of a extrememly organized wedding planner who thinks she has it all planned out. A fun read and I have now read several other books by this author, including the sequel to this book: "I Did (But I Wouldn't Now)".

A simple read, decently written but with a rather obvious "surprise" ending.

Enjoyable, quick read with likeable characters. Similar to the movie The Wedding Planner but still a fun story.

Interesting and fun, although the heroine is a little too clueless for me. Tries a bit too hard to be madcap and hysterical and falls flat.
A Fun Read, lots of laughs!
An amusing read with a plot... wow!
This book is great! I watched the movie afterwards and that was also wonderful.
She creates perfect days... she lives loney nights. Could a wedding planner learn that you just may not be able to plan everything, least of all true love?
this book is a chick lit, cute, easy read.

Quirky characters and interesting plot turns make for a fun read.
Cute chick-lit book with a little twist. It has a pretty straightforward plot but seems fresh and new. Perfect if you need a quick weekend read!
this is a cute summer read!
This book is very cute and a quick read. You won't want to put it down.

Starts slow, but gets better as you get into the story. Author chooses to write in a somewhat jabbering manner, which you must get used to. Once you get past these things however, it's a good story.

Loved the movie too.
A wedding planner whose life isn't as perfect as she thinks
It was a very cute read
A marriage planner meets a hot guy. Is he the groom to a bride desperate for attention. Only time will tell. A good summer read.
An easy read! Starts out a little slow but gets good 1/3 of the way through. There are 2 more books in the "series" they are about different people in the book
Cara Lockwood writes really fun romantic books. This one is no different than her others, fun stories and witty characters and lots of laughs....oh and super hot guys make this a really fun, quick read!

She creates perfect days. In spite of her incorrigible curly hair, Lauren Crandell is a neat-freak and organizational guru, qualities that make her the perfect wedding planner. But when two weddings in one day go haywire, and hunky firefighter Nick Corona comes to the rescue...twice...Lauren realizes there are important details in her own life she hasn't been tending to since her divorce. Namely, her sex life.
