On the whole, I really enjoy Jennifer Crusie, however, I found this book disturbing. I find the subject of being stalked by an ex-lover incompatible with what is otherwise a light romantic romp.
Your mileage may vary. It's competently written.

This is not a cozy mystery and it is not a conventional romance, so I guess I would call it chick-lit...the sex didn't make me uncomfortable but there are a couple of creepy characters who do. This was okay for a lazy Saturday read, but definitely not a keeper. If I read anything else by this author, I will pick it up from the library.

A fun read.
Quinn McKenzie breaks up with her long time boyfriend, Coach Bill Hilliard -- the town of Tibbett's championship coach, because she wants to keep the stray dog she has found and she wants something different and more exciting in her life.
Then things do get exciting -- she explores a new old love, buys a house and her ex turns into a stalker determined to win her back. And she's not the ony one in town causing excitement.

Fun, quick read - a dash of romance, a dash of comedy, and a bit of a dark twisty side...

Jennifer Cruisie always makes me smile. She has mastered her craft and truns out a tight, fast paced story. Her characters are full of life and energy, if somewhat goofy in a dull way at first. Until I fall in love with them, that is.
