Another fantastic story about Abby solving crimes using her psychic abilities. In this story Abby finds a partner to share office expenses with. Her new partner is a PI, and they set out to help each other's businesses by sharing cases. The first case leads them to some really dangerous killers.

Great book! Sometimes Abby acts like a twit but she always gets the job done!

I ADORE the Psychic Eye series, but this one for me was a dissapointment. It felt uninspired and the mystery didn't really grab me like the past did. It may help that I'm not a big fan of Dutch, and he plays a larger part in this book. I also would have liked more Dave in it, but that's just me :) It was still good but in my opinion did not live up to the earlier books. The mystery was honestly kind of dry and dull, and the plot just kind of went through the motions- there wasn't even as much interesting psychic activity as in the past books. I'll still faithfully read this series, I just hope I connect more with the next. This was the first Abby Cooper book that wasn't a keeper for me.
Also, why did they change the cover theme so much? I loved the other ones and how they all matched and really fit the plot- this one is just very generic and has nothing to do with the story.

Crime Seen begins with Abby living at Dutchs place while she heals from the gunshot wounds she received in Killer Insight. Abby seems less sure of herself in the beginning and her business seems to have dwindled down to nothing. While looking at some closed cases for Dutch, she comes across a cold case of a murdered police detective and her radar goes haywire. Shes convinced that the man in prison for the crime is innocent.
Abbys private investigator friend, Candice, moves to town and she and Abby become business partners. Abby relies on Candices P.I. skills and contacts to help her solve the murder. She goes undercover in a mortgage company to try to uncover clues that will reveal the true criminals, which unknowingly puts her in the killers sights.
I really enjoy this series, but Crime Seen has been my least favorite so far. Abby shows more uncertainty in this story and though I understand the reasons behind it, I didnt enjoy witnessing it. Dutch also came across more controlling than usual in this story and I saw a side to Milo I didnt care for. Fortunately for me, these problems will not prevent me for continuing to read this series and hopefully the next book will be better.
