I found this to be just an okay read
If you want a 'clean' story I'd put that description on it, it is never suspenseful and NOT a thriller at all but just a simple mystery in a small town with a rookie chief
Maybe as the series go along it'll be more like the Jesse Stone series but I have my doubts.
