Cons: too many characters to track, too many side stories going into the past, too much description of car chases and foot chases, family life is getting boring, storyline gets lost in all the jumble of the above and doesn't move very fast at all

Even though Cross has been one of my favorite series from the beginning I'm thinking I'll have to drop it or just speed read and just skip a lot of the books as Patterson has become one of those authors that puts too much nonsense into his stories.
