Officer Brinna Caruso is on a mission to find missing children and bring their kidnappers to justice. She was abducted as a child and understands what the children are going through. With the help of her K9 dog and a new partner named Jack, she searches for children but doesn't see a need for God in her life.
I thought this book was interesting. As a parent of a young child, it is not easy to read about child abductions, something that seems to happen quite a bit in this country. The ending was somewhat predictable but I am looking forward to the next book.

This book was a page turner. Lots of questions and suspense. Will Brinna find the missing child? Will Jack come to terms with his wife's death? Is there a God who really cares? I was riveted while watching them struggle with their pasts and coming to terms with a God who would allow evil. (Full review at my website)
