A sexy, rollicking ride through the gambling halls and sinful streets of 1880s San Francisco. When Grace meets a card-shark she's dressed as a nun and he a blind Spanish aristocrat, and he gets an eyeful when the pretty sister lifts her skirts to adjust the little derringer strapped to her thigh.
An awesome book. I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Was only the second book by this author I've read. Sweet awakenings as another very good one.

Wonderful story! Funny characters, h/h both on the shady side of the law in the wild west.
This book is a treasure. Historical significance, passion and wonderful humor. The characters truly come to life. A great read!
