The book was a typical Alex Cross Mystery.
It was exciting and a very easy read.
The outcome was predictable.
If you are an Alex Cross Fan, this book is for you.

Another great Alex Cross story!

This book started out great. Then it started to drag on with nothing of substance really occuring. Finally it ended. The ending, while fine, comes across as rushed. It seems there is such a hurry to get the next book out that the thought isn't there anymore. Here's to hoping the next one is better.

Loved it. Typical Alex Cross action but a quick read and action-packed. No Sampson though...

Another Alex Cross fast-moving, quick page turner book. Alex Cross and Bree's wedding is about to take place and the mastermind, Kyle Craig, is back. Kyle will not relent until he has eliminated Cross and his family for good.

A quick read with well known characters and the return of a previously jailed villain, Kyle Craig. 2 serial murder cases are worked by Alex and Sampson, with the FBI joining the case of another DC sniper who targets those bigwigs who have done wrong but typically get away with their white collar crimes.
Story is quite predictable so not up to Patterson's high quality in my opinion. Alex finally marries Bree, but a super surprise comes during the honeymoon.

Totally disappointed in this book. I couldn't even finish it and I'm a pretty big fan of the Alex Cross series. The problem with this book is that it spends too much time on the bad guys. The book doesn't even seem like it's about Alex Cross. He is more like a side character. The writing, especially Alex's voice, also sound very different. He doesn't sound like himself at all.

Skip it. Not worth the time. I'm interested to see what will happen with the next book that unite Cross with the Women's Murder Club.

Pretty good. Alex Cross takes on THREE psychopathic lillers (including Kyle Craig again), and this one appears to be the lead-in for an Alex Cross/ Women's Murder Club mashup.

Alex Cross is planning his wedding when he is called to the assassination scene of a dirty congressman and a corrupt lobbyist. He must work with FBI agent Max Siegel who rubs him the wrong way. As Cross seeks to find the killer other murders occur but are they committed by the same person/people. While Alex tries to find links a deadly and long time enemy stalks his every move and delights in his failures. A pretty good entry in the series with loads of twists and turns before all three mysteries are solved.

Patterson tells a good story; however, his "novel" is more like a short story. For example, the last four chapters in the book has 13 pages of which 6 are blank. I am tired of it--this is my last Patterson book.

on going saga of Alex Cross and this time Kyle Craig, arch enemy! Didn't care much for the 2nd storyline of the snipers, didn't feel like it developed very well and didn't explain as much as it should've but over all it is just as good as any of the Cross books.

Another Alex Cross story that I couldn't put down until I had finished this book. I was surprised, that Alex Jr.'s mother was in this one quiet a bit. She had been an old memory in the back of my reader's mind that I didn't pay a lot of attention to her.
