Hi everyone! I"ve been MIA from PBS for a long time but I finally have the time to devote more time here. Since I've been gone, I discovered Crossfit for working out and Paleo for eating. Does anyone around here do either of these or both? They are two of my favorite topics so if you don't know about them and are interested, I would love to get a thread going. :) |

I tried Paleo and gained weight. So I am now on a high protein, low carb and fat eating plan. I have eliminated 95% gluten and all dairy. I do not do cross fit - just losing weight and getting in shape so I am actually doing HIIT cardio and HIIT weights. Glad you found a passion |

Oh good for you! I could see where a person could gain with Paleo. I had to cut way back on my nut consumption. lol They are addicting! I had a set back this last week and fell off the paleo wagon but am getting back on today. I missed my gluten! Good for you on the HIIT cardeo and weights. Interval training is the best! |

Well, I am now trying the Ketogenic diet which is similar to Paleo but the macronutrients are specific. I am still working on HIIT. Everyone has a bump in the road, so good for you getting back on the wagon! I gained some weight back but will start losing again. So far 60lbs and have about 40 more to go. |

I thought high protein, low carb and fat eating IS actually Paleo?!
