Probably the last of the Valdemar books. 16 tales by science fiction writers invited to play with Mercedes Lackey, including Tanya Huff, Mickey Zucker Reichert, Ben Oberlander & Rosemary Edghill. If you haven't been to Valdemar, there are 26 other books to explore, but it wouldn't hurt to start with this one. The series is best read in order written. See www.mercedeslackey.com

A nice compilation of short stories by several very talented authors. Each story was unique in it's own way and made for a quick but satisfying read.

This book is interesting because it is set in the world of Mercedes Lackey's Valdamar, except these are all short stories from other authors. The very last story is by M.Lackey and in my eyes, brought me back to world I loved to read about. I do recommend you check this book out!
