A delightful book. Read the previous books before reading this book. It will give you a feel for the characters. Paul, the main character and hero is just a sweet, loveable 80 something. His "memory problem" is a clever part of the story without bogging the reader down with "poor Paul". He finds a way around his short term memory problem by keeping a journal. He can remember the long term past, but as soon as he goes to sleep for the night, the day is erased from his mind. He awakes to a woman laying beside him, but cannot remember that he recently married her (he is a newlywed). There is a lot of light humor in this series.
Poor Paul" just keeps finding himself in the wrong place at the wrong time and circumstances sometimes are not in his favor. The supporting characters add to the flavor of this series.
No blood and gore in this book, just a cute story.
I am looking forward to more in the series.
