Very amusing setup, lots of fun dialogue with nice descriptions of odd characters and settings. And the revelation of why all those bad guys are after Veronica was much fun. If you like the Amelia Peabody series by Elizabeth Peters you'll like this too.

Excellently imagined, very well written, loaded with action, surprises, beautiful settings and finally I have read what will probably be my fav read of the year. The bar is set. I loved this book! Its one that will leave you thinking about it for days to come as well. I am so glad there is a book 2. Im running to go get it!
