For most part there were many things to love about this book. One of them was the setting. I really felt transformed to the early 1900's. So much so that I found myself watching silent movies and playing music from that time period. Also, there were things that I didn't know about... Infant incubators, Chaplin's background, etc. I found myself researching and learning about new things. The other great thing was the characters. There were some really great ones. Especially Pin and eventually Henry. The biggest problem that I had was there seemed to be a lot of page filler. There were too many times were I thought that a chapter was unnecessary or times when my mind started to wander. The beginning was great and the ending (especially the very end) was also great. The in-between could of been shortened up a bit. All in all an excellent book.
