Well, I thought I'd like it because I also wandered the Oregon coast semi-homeless when I was 24, although I wasn't arrested in Bandon (I did get to ride in the back seat of a police car further north). The characters were a bit too taciturn for me, though. It takes place near Coquille, although I think the author took some liberties with some road names.
