reviewed The Daily Show and Philosophy (The Blackwell Philosophy and Pop Culture Series) on
Outstanding view of how The Daily Show and The Colbert Report address needs that almost all other media sources ignore, and by doing so fulfilling one of the premier requirements of an informed public, which is, understanding when BS is BS. The book goes beyond the conventional wisdom about these two shows and ties them to the use of satire to make serious political and societal points throughout history. I will definitely seek out other books in this series.
