I loved all seven of these books about seven brothers in the west who find brides.

Tyler Randolph has been mining for gold to fulfill his dream of owning a hotel when he rescues Daisy Singleton from killers. Her hair is scorched and she has been shot, but Tyler finds something very compelling about all six feet of her.

A blizzard traps Daisy, Tyler and his youngest brother Zac in a cabin. Having Daisy around, wearing his clothes and sleeping in his bed, is driving Tyler crazy.

Daisy doesn't understand her attraction to the domineering loner. Her fianc, Guy Cochrane is pressing her to announce their wedding plans, but Daisy can't do it because she's fallen in love with Tyler. Daisy and Tyler finally give in to their passion, but their relationship is anything but smooth with long-standing insecurities to overcome, as well as outside influences to fight.

Daisy Singleton awakes not knowing where she is, why she wrapped like a buritto in a blanket, an aching head. As she slowly looks around she sees a giant of a hairy (long hair, long beard) staring at her. When she asks for her father, a man she thinks of in her mind as Adonis pokes his head over the edge of the top bunk and says hi to her. She has just learned that she is with the youngest 2 Randolph brothers Tyler and Zac. They tell her she has been shot in the head, left for dead in a burning house and that her dad was killed. In the process of rescuing her Zac as also shot. As Tyler nurses her back to health, they try to determine who and why Daisy and her dad were attacked.

As she heals Daisy starts to dislike being told what to do by Tyler just as she realizes she always hated being told what to do by her father. She wants to be independent and make her own decision regarding her life. As she heals and Tyler searches for the killers who are still after them, she puts herself and the Randolphs in danger several times. Finally Tyler decides to take her to Albuquerque to stay with his brother and sister in law who are in town awaiting the birth of their child. Daisy becomes friends with Laurel Randolph but still wants to go stay with her friend Adora because she promised years ago to marry Adora's brother. As Guy pushes for a wedding date, Daisy realizes she is in love with Tyler not Guy but does not want to marry either because she thinks that marriage means loss of independence.

Daisy was raised to believe she was poor but learns that her dad owns lots and lots of land that he poorly managed. Tyler who knows ranching tells Daisy she can run the ranch herself and stays on to help her by giving her ranching tips. At the same time he is still trying to find out who tried to kill Daisy and why.

There is some suspense as it builds to who is responsible and why Daisy's dad was murdered and they attempted to kill her. I figured it out early but it did not mar the enjoyment of the story. There is romance in the last 1/4 of the book as Daisy and Tyler finally realize they love each other enough to overlook the things they said they would never tolerate in their lives.

He was out to find gold in them thar hills, but he struck the real mother lode when he rescued a feisty and independent beauty from the wilderness. Attacked, shot and left for dead, Daisy was horrified to wake up in Tylers cabin. Then a blizzard trapped them together and she was conviced that the mountain man was a fourteen carat cad, until his unpolished charm claimed her love. Before long, Daisy was determined to do some digging of her own to unearth the treasures hidden in Tylers heart.

Another one of the Seven Brides. Made me want to get married all over again. Loved the series. Couldn't wait to read them all.
