I loved this book and bought several copies for my nieces. It is a coming of age story about a young girl living in a dysfunctional family. Slowly all the things that she thought were "truth", were not, including the circumstance surrounding her mother's death and her birth. This is a story about strength , determination and listening to one's heart. I highly recommend it!

Dancing on the Edge is a very peculiar, quirky, funny, devistating, yet purely beautiful work of art. Weaving you into the life of a emotionally desturbed girl, who ultimately becomes her own heroine. Very descriptive and well written. You truely fall into love with the characters. Great read, definatly reccomend!

On the back:
Miracle McCloy has always known that there was something different about her.Her late mother was a dancer, and her father is a brilliant novelist;just by being their daughter, she is special.Raised by her grandmother Gigi,a psychic,Miracle believes in mysical spirits and auras-in things no one can see. When Miracle'father "melts",dissapearing into thin air,she becomes obsessed with contacting him and bringing him back. The more she loses herself in her quest, the more she simply loses herself-and,in a last desprate attempt, sends her life up in flames.Miracle is unforgettable-and so is her story.
