This is a great children's book from the classic author of the "Corderoy" series. The details Freeman puts in the book of Dandelion doing his daily exercises, making his bed before heading out for the day, etc., make it charming. Besides a great reminder for us to be who we really are, the artwork is great, the narrative is engaging, and it is not simply twaddle, like so many children's books. And, it doesn't rhyme, hooray!

A great story about a lion who changes his appearance and then his friends don't recognize him. A good lesson for kids about putting too much emphasis on looks.
