If you are looking for a seriously sexy book with overtones of dominant men and strong, resourceful women, look no further than Lora Leigh. A young woman, despairing of her love for her brother's friend and fellow Seal Clint, decides to leave secretarial work behind. She secretly enrolls in law enforcement and upon graduation, joins the DEA. Trolling several S & M clubs looking for the source of a new date rape drug, Morganna is dismayed to realize that Clint "Iceman" McIntyre has just spotted her...and he does not look happy to see her there. He insists she stay out of danger, she insists she loves him and can take care of herself. The sparks fly, in more ways than one, when these two clash on professional and personal levels. I have never read a Lora Leigh that was not hot and contained a good story. Somewhat typical story lines but she carries them off.

WOW. I think I'm in love with this new series. This is the 2nd story and I'm looking forward to this 1st and the 3rd coming soon. Clint & Morgana are like fire & ice and they really melt up the pages. Not just a sexy read though, also has a good story to it to. Lora Leigh is a new fav to add to my list. Enjoy!

If you have ever read Lora Leigh before, you know she is explicit in her sexual play. And this one takes it to another level.....the BDSM scene. As with all the SEALs books the story is the war with the Fuentes cartel. And I do enjoy the underlying story in all her series, but it is the main couple that draws you in. The uncontrolled passion and need to be with one another that brings all women to their needs. Sometimes you just need to get lost in a passionate, sexual, book on a Sunday afternoon. Give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it too.

A gritty story with an uncover "sub" and a dangerous hero. I enjoyed this book. It was a little racier than I expected but an exciting story.
This was the first Tempting Seals book I read and have been hooked since. If you are looking for a book with erotic, BDSM and a sexy alpha male Hero then this is it.
Kind of edgy and I had a difficult time being engaged with these characters. More erotica than romance, IMO.
Ok let me start off by saying I am a huge Lora Leigh fan... that being said, this book just really didn't do it for me. While I'm all for the hunky, alpha-man, Clint just wore on me. I understand he had a horrible childhood, etc., etc., but frankly I got tired of him using it as an excuse over and over again. He was convinced he could just have hot sex repeatedly with Morganna (who he has been basically in "love" with for 10 years) and that he could just walk away. Morganna, who when dealing with her career was a strong, kick-ass heroine, but as soon as it came to her personal life and Clint, she sort of became a push-over. She does have her moments though! I liked how she could go from being very emotional to verbally knocking down Clint's ego a few notches. The whole book revolves around a serious topic of finding drug dealers who are creating a new dangerous date rape drug. While it sounds like an intense plot line, I feel it was just overshadowed by tension between the H/H. There was just too much, "lets hook up and pretend that we can be in love, at least for now, because this could never happen/work in the future."
On a positive note, the sex scenes were smoking, just as you can expect with Lora Leigh's novels. When first starting the book, I was worried it was heading in a BDSM direction, but it was just for setting the scene (in clubs) for the majority of the book, not carrying over to the sex.
While this book wasn't my favorite, I will probably read more of the series and I will definitely continue to read Lora Leigh's work. This would be a great book for just a quick read.

This is the first book I've read by this author. I enjoyed the book. It was entertaining. You know how it's going to end very early on. I will read more by the author and I will give another book in this series a chance. Personally, I didn't particularly like the main character, Clint, but that's probably because I'm not into men who think they are in control or can control a women in and out of the bedroom. I know that's part of the story and the character's personality, I just didn't find it appealing. I'm all for a good read with good sex, but this S&M stuff didn't do it for me either.
Lora Leigh incorporates alot of action in this book and not just the sexual kind.
Love this book. Not for everyone though, has a lot of S & M sex, not for the faint of heart, but not to the point of being gross. Done very tactifully
It was a good quick read. liked it and look forward to reading the others in the series to see how it ends.

Lora Leigh is my 'go-to' author when I want a steamy read with a happy ending. This series has not disappointed so far, and I doubt it ever will.
I have loved all of the other "Tempting Seals" books, but, I have to say, I just hated this book. Seriously hated it. I found Clints actions totally inconsistent with someone who claims to love someone else. I had no warm feelings for his character at all.
If you are looking for erotica... this is the book for you. Just be sure to lock your bedroom door and read in private. The story line is a little weak, as it is overshadowed by all the sex and kinky club scenes. But if your in the mood for that...

I absolutely love Lora Leigh. Every time I read her books I fall in love with her character's. Her book's always have characters that are complex, driven, mouth watering, and panty dropping. I just can't get enough of her books. When I read her books I always end up feeling like their isn't enough time in the day. I fight to stay reading instead of eating or sleeping.

Lora Leigh does it again. The plot is tight, concise and smooth. She creates characters that are 3d you can actually visualize the character they are full bodied men and women. the book get you involved in the plot. You feel the impact, the momentum and the drama.

It's another hot read from Lora Leigh, but you really have suspend common sense when you read this story. The hero is a dom and into the bdsm lifestyle, but he's not into the really dark aspects of the scene. His activities are pretty tame and mild in my opinion. He's an over the top alpha male Navy SEAL, but he manages to rent a very exclusive room in the bdsm club for $40,000/year. No, that's not possible on a SEAL's salary. I also don't know how he'd have the time to use the room given how extensively SEALS train throughout the year to maintain the readiness for missions. That aside, there's the usual love scenes that Lora Leigh is known for complete with her infamous "damn you!" comment made by the hero at some point during the scene. This has Leigh's famous plot device - the best friend of the heroine's brother who has had his eye on the heroine for some time, biding his time until the friend's sister grew up. Morgana, the heroine, is not very likable. She seems very immature even though she was supposed to have been a DEA agent. If you like Lora Leigh's special ops books, you'll probably want to read this, but it's definitely not a keeper for me.

This was my first book by this author, but I'll certainly look for subsequent books. However, WARNING, this book, in my opinion, falls into the erotic category, so if that's not your thing, you had better pass this one up.

OK. I know I'll be in the minority here. I didn't like this book - I couldn't finish it. I've read other books by this author. I find them all the same. He is the Uber Dom, and she will submit to him, and like it. I can't read this particular author anymore.
