The plot was rushed and somewhat forced.
This story drowns in details and I had a hard time keeping track of all the various characters. And what's the point of having a hero who constantly denies himself the pleasure of the woman he desires? Abram was forever dancing around Paige, and even long before they finally "did the deed"--and it was a long time coming--their passion really didn't click for me. Tariq, being the third, well, he was just kind of thrown in there to be "the third" since that was the common practice for the alpha men in this Pleasure series. The romance certainly took a back seat to the terrorist/family revenge plot, and this is where I had to keep re-reading sections to keep the various characters straight in my head. What I found most enjoyable was the insight into the Saudi customs/lifestyle, but I guess I could have watched a TV documentary instead. A somewhat disappointing read. 3.5 stars.
Not as good as her other books.
