LOL
I've decided to learn how to use chopsticks. Following this wild hare, I invested in a sack (and yes, literally) of white rice. Do you realize they sell sacks of rice in wal-mart? (look to the bottom row) I chose Japanese rice, as it is sticky and clumps and, for all intents and purposes, one of the easier things to attempt to pick up with two thin sticks. In my moments of delusion of grandeur, I thought this would be something I could master within a day... ~ahem~ Yes, one day passed, two days passed, then three. Yes folks, all I've eaten is white rice for a week and a half. I can say, that I have learned the proper way to hold them and how to hold them together and scOOp (though I have since been informed that 'scooping' is considered horrid table manners in a number of asian countries)... -_-'' Luckily, I have had the foresight to roll up and put away my rice paintings, before they met with unfortunate circumstances... And on a more humorous note, I now play a unique game called "find the white rice" whereas, I look for where all the pieces have stuck to when my chopsticks suddenly went cross eyed and shot rice like bullets from a six shooter. I had been thinking of patenting the game, but thankfully that part of the madness has passed now. So then, the question begs: Does this long stretch of nothing but rice, mean that I now have mush for brains? (If so, it would be a wonderful excuse for work...) ^^-^^ ( --- alien happy face) |
