This book was awful!
Full of bullies and adults who should be mentors but are trying to act young by being cheating drunks. Drinking with her teenage athletes at her house! Promoting eating disorders! The list goes on and on. Awful characters. You are rooting for no one.
I stopped halfway through and truly don't care how it ends. Waste of my time and yours.
Don't waste a credit for this book!

I am so in awe of Megan Abbot's storytelling skill. I am possibly as different from a High School cheerleader as one can be, yet I completely identified with (and was thoroughly engaged by) the story and characters.

DARE ME is a hell of an achievement. Highly recommended!
