Loved this one.. it brought all the first 16 books together and it became one.and still left you "knowing" that there are more that need their "lifemates". Just wish I could find another series as good.. romance adventure and well,, all "I" look for in a book

I truly enjoyed this book. It was a bit of a change from her other work, though still dark. I have not laughed so hard while reading a book, the exchanges between Gregory and Mikhail where really great. I know many readers were disappointed, however I liked that Ms. Feehan was bringing the individual couples together reforming the Carpthian society.

Unlike many others I did not find the book too busy nor did I think there wasn't enough updates on the older characters. I really thought she had a great balance of the older characters and the introduction and expansion of some very interesting and exciting new charachters.

I think this is truely a must read.

this was a great book! It's great how all the past characters were brought back without over powering each other. Good to see that Feehan still has it!

A bit busy with so many characters present from previous books, but not a bad read all-in-all. The main problem I had with this book was the lack of attention paid to each couple or family, but then again, with so many characters, the book would've had to be 800 pages to devote as much attention to them all as they deserved. What I DID like was the fact that this story left the probability of more Carpathian stories wide open. Without naming names, I'll let you know that several bundles of joy will be along in future novels to continue their lines.

I am disappointed in this book. I love most of her earlier books but she is beginning to be repetitive. I understood that she wanted to talk about all of the characters but I think she over extended herself in this book....there is just to much going on to have a wonderful story to sit down to. If the book were longer it might have worked but as it is, I was not impressed

I really enjoyed this book by Feehan. I have followed all of her Dark series, so to have all of the characters combined was a treat. I felt that she integrated all of the larger-than-life personalities very well, so that no one overwhelmed another. A great read!

For those who follow the series, this was a wonderful chance to catch up on couples and others. The story line also planted seeds for future stories. And even introduced more information about previously mentioned characters. But the best part is at the end of the book was all the CHOCOLATE recipes submitted by her fans. Absolutely, out of this word :)

Way to go Feehan! So awesome to get all our hunky heros together again and catch up on their stories. I think all the Christian parallels are interesting and we are getting closer to discovering the ultimate plot to destroy the Carpathian race. I love how Feehan builds one book on top of another, the storyline just keeps growing and continuing. This book left me waiting with baited breath for the stories on the rest of the unattached Carpathian males. Ooh Skyler, now that was a surprise.

Christine Feehan is my favorite author, so I'm probably a little biased. She did an absolutley fabulous job of bringing all of her characters back together in one book...not an easy thing to do. This book is on to have in your permanent collection!

I really enjoyed this book. It was nice reading about the couples so long after their respective books were done. Finding out how things were for them later. I loved the whole Christmas celebration of the Carpathians. All in all it was an excellent book. No surprise with it being Christine Feehan.

I absolutely love this book! With Christines Novels I have always had a hard time putting them down, this wasn't as page turning, but I loved catching up with all the Carpathians. And it helps remind me of some of their stories if it had been awhile since I had read the other. This book left me itching to get my hands on Manolitos & MaryAnns story, and Dimitri and Skylers!!!
Can't WAIT!

I loved this book. I liked seeing what those we've read about are doing and I love that she gives us leads into more books that are coming. I also love the idea of a Christamas reunion, to bring hope to those who haven't found their soulmates. It is a great read!

All of Christines books are great and this one was no exception...bold alpha males and gritty alpha females who can hold their own abound and the discriptive writing is as always a treat...I would reccomend this and any other of Feehans offerings they never fail to please

I soo enjoyed this book. After reading most of the Dark series books this really brought it all together and was so humorous. It was great reading a story of these stern hunters all enjoying time with their families and sharing a laugh or two. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did.

The lighter side of the Carpathians are shown in this book. I loved the humor and having everyone in the same place. It is such a fun experienced. Definitely read a few books in the series before you read this one so you can get a full effect of their tomfoolery.

What a great way to catch up with all the characters we have come to love in the "Dark" series, so far. With 16 different stories under one's belt, those characters were getting confusing and a Christmas story to re-acquant is perfect! Each chapter concentrates on a particular couple as Mikhail, the prince, oversees the preparations for a huge Christmas celebration instigated by Raven, his lifemate and embraced by everyone. While the feel is still very much Carpathian, there are actually many moments of lightness and humor in this particular installment, such as the plan to have the groups resident "bogeyman", Gregori, play Santa Claus. This story is just the ticket for a series that continues to enthrall and entertain for years to come.

I've have now read 15 books of the 'Dark Series' by Christine Feehan and I love this series! Each book has been about a different couple in the Carpathian community. Now that I'm deep into the series, I've noticed that the author draws in past couples as part of the stories. Dark Celebration was even more special, because it shows you what each of the past couples are doing now, as they come together for a special gathering. Christine Feehan is an amazing author! This book also shows you what might be coming up next in the beginnings of new romances and present ones as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and wished it didn't have to end!

With her erotically charged Carpathian tales, Christine Feehan has enthralled a legion of fans, captivated by a strangely seductive world and the unforgettable characters-both human and not-who inhabit it. Now she reunites them all in a Dark Celebration.....

After centuries as the prince of the Carpathians, Mikhail Dubrinsky fears he can't protect them for long from their greatest threat: the extinction of their species-a fate that has become the wicked prayer of his enemies. To ensure it, they are devising a scheme to slaughter Carpathian females. But even with his own lifemate, Raven, and their daughter, Savannah, vulnerable to the encroaching evil, Mikhail's hope is not lost...
In this desperate season, Carpathians from around the world are gathering to join their strengths, their souls and their powers to bring light to the darkness. But so too are their adversaries uniting-hunters, vampires, demons, and betrayers- bringing untold dangers into the fold of the Carpathian people.

Now for the first time, borne from the uninhibited imagination of Christine Feehan, all the inhabitants of Carpathian legend are reunited for a celebration of sensual adventure, undying passion and astonishing fantasy - one to remember for a thousand lifetimes.

I love all of Christine's Dark series novel but I have to say I wasn't all that please when I read Dark Celebration. I loved that all the characters from previous books have reunited but Mikhail the prince of all Charpatian for me he seemed weaker than in the previous books.

Like always loved the story loved the characters especially Dimitri *drools* is a good read.

Overall I'm a fan of the series so i like it even with the slight disappointment.
