One of the better of the Stone Barrington series. Very enjoyable. Will be vacationing 4 miles from Dark Harbor, Maine in just a few months so the setting had a special interest for me.

I like the book better. Tony Roberts is not how I pictured Stone in my imagination and while he did a good job with all the different voices, I really would have liked someone else's face to go with Stone!

This is Stuart Woods and Tony Roberts (reader) at their best! Woods weaves a tale as convoluted as imaginable. He injects subtle humor throughout the entire book. It is a joy to listen to and will keep you guessing.

Great read/listen! Characters are all interesting and the many heros are computer savie and street-smart; while the unknown villians are baffeling and brilliant. Central figure, Stone Barrington, is a well respected and connected lawyer who finds that his distant relatives are shockingly linked to a chain of unsolved murders. Stone's network of friends are needed to locate and rescue his long-time girlfriend who has mysteriously disappeared while a houseguest on his Island Estate. Kept my attention from the first to the last minute and I anxiously looked forward to the next disk segment of Stuart Woods "Dark Harbor" drama. Dramatic reader "Tony Roberts" did a great job.

I found this book to skip in spots, leaving the reader wondering what the heck happened or how we got from point A to point B. The sex scenes add nothing to the storyline and would have been better served if left out, leaving more room for the story to develop. I usually enjoy Stuart Woods' Stone Barrington books, but this was a definite waste of time for me.
