Sean Dillion and company take on an organization responsible for an attempt on the U.S. President's life. In pursuit of the people behind the crime, he travels to Iraq and Ireland. Aptly fits into the present world situation.
Pretty bland after so many years of Sean Dillen, Hannah Bernstein, et al...but the ending leaves you wondering what future is left for some of the long-loved characters.
another great book by higgins
I just couldn't get into this, to be honest. I got about 90 pages into it before giving up, but it was very bland to me and never grabbed my attention.
Good Jack Higgins novel. Anytime you get White House operative Blake Johnson and his British counterpart, Sean Dillon together, there's bound to be lots of action.
Be prepared to read for awhile because you won't want to put this down once you start on it. Like all his books, it's great!!!

Excellent read for anyone who loves Jack Higgins.
Blake Johnson and his British counterpart San Dillon set out to trace a shadowy world wide organization whose purpose is to create terror and havoc.
Good, fast-pased Higgins thriller. Keeps the pages turning.
Not as good as expected from this author. Fast-paced action but little depth.
Another okay book but this was definitely better than Edge of Danger, mainly since I knew something about the characters. This is my biggest gripe about this author is that he doesn't develop his characters well. He introduces them into the story and there is implied history between the characters but one doesn't know the whole story. Maybe it would have helped if I had started at the beginning of the series. My problem is that I didn't know it was a series until I bought this book - should have looked. Sean is definitely into it with Russians and a billionaire Belov who want certain people killed including Sean. A lot of action, I will give it that.
A thriller to keep you reading far into the night. You feel like you are the character you're reading about.
This is the latest book with Sean Dillon and the best.Action,galore.
In Manhatten, the President is planning to have dinner with an old friend. In a darkened building across the street, a man waits at a window-rifle at the ready. This book centers around the story that agents around the world are trying to recruit people into a diabolical organization to cause terror. The operatives that hunt the source of the organization down may not only lose the lives of their colleagues, but there's as well.
This is a great book. I enjoyed it very much. Please note that I have two copies of this book. One is large print the other is not. If you order one please state which print you would like to get. thanks and enjoy this series
