This book was just too slow for me. The storyline would get good for a few pages and then drop back off to where it dragged on and on. I finally had to put it down and leave it as I just could not stand how the author kept dragging out the story when it could have moved along much faster.

This book has a disappearing heroine, the unraveling of family secrets and the supernatural thrown in too! If this mix is your cup of tea, you'll find it a terrific read!

I thought this book was amazing. The story is complex--there are so many layers to ponder, and they really make you think. The author incorporates history into an intriguing supernatural suspense story, and the characters are completely real and believable. An awesome book that is highly recommended.
This book was hard for me to get through. The story seemed to heavy and plodding. There were places where I was lost and had to go back several pages to pick up the story line again. I finally finished the book but doubt I'll read anything from this author again.
Great book. When I started this book. I had no idea that it tied into Expiration Date and the Jerusalem's Undead Series. I would definitely start here if you are interested in reading Eric Wilson. I am going back to read the Undead series now, because I have some more background on some of the side characters.
