I loved this book. If you like J.R. Ward, laurell k hamilton and sherrilyn kenyon you will love these too.

I liked this book much more than the first one. The love scenes still irked me like they did in the first book, but I really liked the story. Allie made me want to smack the stupid out of her several times but I really liked Royce...in every time. Aidan is wonderful again in this book and I hope his own story is at least as good, if not better than this one.

Well, it was better than the first... I am currently on the third MOT book and I think Ms. Joyce is finding her stride with each subsequent novel; plus, having introduced the characters in the first book, she can focus more on the story.

It was a fun book, with sensuality but not graphic sex. Not as chilling and gripping as JR Ward but much better than Gena Showalter... Entertaining.

Time-travel romance at it's best! A story so enchanting, you'll want to stay up late into the night reading! Black Royce is one of the most hard-headed heroes I've stumbled upon and it was great to see the sexy warrior and Master open his heart to Allie, the Healer he is sworn to protect. Their love story is one that transcends the ages and is truly heart wrenching. Aidan, McNeil and Blackwood are excellent secondary characters that I could not get enough of and hope to see in later books! Who doesn't love a sexy Highlander with a little dark side?! A great read for historical and paranormal romance lovers!

Better than book one of this series but still not a great book. Furthermore, the story line in book 2 was identical to book one. Since I stupidly ordered all the books in this series, I'm HOPING they get better with each book.

I wasn't disappointed. I couldn't put it down. This book is a page turner, full of action, romance and I had trouble laying the book down for any length of time. This was a fun quick read and I'd highly recommend it to anyone who is in the mood for the paranormal. However, be aware of some tear jerking moments too.

This series is great...time travel, highlander warriors...what's not to love? This books are a little dark (lots of violence) but wonderful just the same.

I purchased the entire series and I'm kind of sorry I did. The heroines in this series are beyond annoying. They think they are independent 20th century females, but they are in medieval Scotland for gods sake. The whine because their highlander doesn't act like a modern day man and they ignore all caution and put themselves in danger knowing they can't defend themselves.

I know the author needs to have plot incidences where the heroine is in danger and the hero saves them. But, she needs to find a way to do it other than making the heroines so STUPID!

I loved the first book in this series. But in this book I thought the heroine came on too strong. She struck me as being vapid and unable to listen to common sense. She was a frustrating character to like.
