I have read several of Dean Kootnz's books and this to me is one of if not his best. I enjoyed it from start to finish. It may make you rethink some of your opinions of our Government. At the end of the book in a section named Afterward, Mr Kootnz gives details on happenings mentioned in the story, it in it's self is enlightening, especially about the Asset Forfiture Laws and our (beloved?) Congress. Also a short mention of the Branch Davidian event and the fiasco at Ruby Ridge with the Weaver family.

Big Brother! This book is thought provoking and kept my interest. Nothing else needed.

It is difficult to imagine a reader who won't be hooked by this thriller about goverment power run amok and a man and woman on the run from the madman who wields that power. Unrelenting excitement, truly memorable characters, and ample food for thought.
