For me this was an okay book...It's a little slow, and I feel that the hero would of been interesting character, but for some reason the author made this book kind of slow...hardly any conflict, it was a light reading compare to the first book.

Not my favorite of Morgan's books, it just seemed to predictable. This is the second book in the Talion's series. You don't need to read the first book to understand what is going on.
Alexis Morgan doesn't disappoint. Each book can be read as a srand alone or as a series. This book is different in that the Mate for Sandor is diferent from any of the other mates.
Enough said...I enjoyed it and look forward for the next book in the series.

I have been following this series, the Talions, and this book is a little different. Although it is about a Talion warrior and his mate, it adds more to the history and future outlook of this species. It does not have the violence of other books but does continue the storyline directly from the previous book. This mate is human and is investigating the death of her mentor using her enhanced senses and the Talions are trying to block her investigation because the murderer was one of their own and already disposed of. Her warrior is hunting renegades preying on humans. Although it is a stand alone story, it would be more interesting if you already read the previous books. I enjoyed this book and put it with my "keepers".
Even better than the first. Truly enjoy this series despite my first opinion of it. I thought it would be too sci-fy, but I am glad to say I was wrong. The characters are very realistic even though the idea seems otherworldy. Hot sex scenes with just the right amount of alpha male! A definite read!
I liked this book, it was a relaxing, predictable read.
Having already established that I like Alexis Morgan's imagination, I find the Talions series just as interesting as the Paladins. I am waiting anxiously for Book 3 to arrive in my mail box.
This is a great book. I love how each of these men find the one woman that can be there mates. They are there to give there all and not look for a family life. But sometimes it is just what will keep them able to fight. The stories around the meetings are real and you can see them happening. The places are well developed and true to fact. If you read one you will have to read them all.
adore this series and the tallions! awesome world building. I need my own Paladian!!!
