While I enjoyed this book a great deal, I was very frustrated when I reached the end and found out there will have to be another book. I started this series when I was around the same age as the character Cara. I am now 23. I only hope the next book does not take as long as this one did to come out.

A very enjoyable young author, fantasy series. This installment gives the reader a lot more background on the various characters and helps set the scene for the final book. This book moves a little slower than the first two books, and almost seems to have been written for an older age reader. My children introduced me to Bruce Coville years ago and we ALL still read his books.
