This series is getting more interesting with every book. Would recommend that it is read in the series order though or it could be confusing. A must read.

Okay, for the positives: This book is the second in the series, and despite being written by a different author than the first, the information is consistent with the first. There is a lot of action, the writing overall is solid. The ending obviously leads into book 3. It was a pleasant way to pass a few hours. I strongly suggest reading the first book before this one.
For the drawbacks: TSTL heroine, a plot "formula" that seems to echo and repeat the first book (Immortal shows up, meets heroine, bad nasty made known, she does something TSTL all in the name of being independent and hunting down the truth, he saves her, repeat as necessary until the end.) Will not make my keeper shelf (hence being posted back here).
WARNING (semi-spoiler): At one point in the story after the hero has met the heroine but before they've had sex, he has sex with another woman. That was very disappointing to me, and I think it was used more to forcibly manipulate the plot than it was a legitimate plot point. It could and should have been handled a lot differently. I honestly felt little sympathy for the hero from that point on in this book.

another great fast easy read with likable characters by robin t. popp. Darius's story. Worth the read.

Just as good as the first book in the series (I was worried since different authors were writing each of the books in the series) and I'm looking forward to reading the next two about the five Immortal brothers who fight to keep the balance between light and dark magic! Our second (actually third since we met both Adrian and Tain in the first book), Darius meets his match in Lexie, a were-witch. An absolute enjoyable read!
Great book!
Book 2 of 6: Lexi, a werewolf bounty hunter is in the middle of an altercation with a 'skip' (person who skips bail) when Darius, an Immortal, literally appears out of thin air because of 'The Calling' (where humans Call Immortals for help).
The same demon from book 1 is trying to take over the world and it looks like you will have to read all 6 books to find out how the demon gets vanquished.

Wonderful read
Another great story in the "Immortals" series.
Book is #2 in a series of 4. The stories are about immortal warrior brothers, who are being summoned by a white witch coven to help fight a demon.
I was ready for a new series and this one is working for me... this is book 2 of the Immortals series written by several different authors. I like that concept and it seems to be working!
Fun read. Turns up the heat on the characters and moves the series along.
Very good book! It's a toss up as to whether or not I like this one better than the first one, because the first one was so wonderful as well. Definitely a must-read. I really really really want to find out what happens to Tain!
The first one in this series wasn't bad but this one was written by a different author and it's not very good. I'll try the next one if it's written by someone I like.
