The Dahlia's are in charge of the Watermelon Festival in their small town of Darling. They expected the occasional problem and issues, but didn't expect they would be involved in solving another mystery or two. The central event at the festival is a flying circus starring Lily Dare, The Texas Star and the Daredevils. Some of the mysteries include; what is the truth about Lily Dare's reputation, why did the cook at the Darling Diner suddenly leave and really, who is the new cook and why is she so mysterious? Lizzy Maxwell and the other Dahlia's must solve these mysteries and more while making sure the Watermelon Festival runs smoothly.

Excellent book, love this series set in the 1930's.
