I consider myself a true Foster fan, but this one came off a little bit as the book someone told her to write because Shades of Gray and erotica are hot right now. It's probably still fair to put this book in the romance category, but it's quite steamy and sex leads to love rather than the reverse. There's a cameo by characters from her MMA series.
I was actually more interested in the criminal element of the story than in the romance between Margo and Dash. I wished Foster spent more time developing their characters instead of making them caricatures. Margo's backstory was interesting and I would have liked more interaction with her family. I know nothing of Dash's background other than it was perfect and rich.
Ok read but I did a lot of skim reading. Dash & Margo's bedroom antics gets dull after a few scenes but it just goes on forever and it's really not that well done.
