I still want more! Terri Blackstock has a way of making the characters of her books part of the readers family and leaves them wanting to continue following these families lives.
Helpful Score: 1
Wow! I can't believe this ends the series. This last book reawakened all my emotions. I felt I was part of the Branning family. Highly recommend the whole series.

The 4th and final book in her Restoration series. Absolutely incredible...I couldn't put it down.

Very interesting read. It really gets you thinking about being prepared for local and national emergencies.
What a great series and testament of working faith. Certainly presented the issue of being grateful for everything we take for granted each minute of every day while constantly providing food for thought on one's Christian walk in a secular world.
This is the last of four books in the series called Restoration. Set in small town USA.
If you have read the first three, you know that a supernova has wiped out the electrical grid over the entire planet. No electric anything. New cars won't start, old vehicles will but without fuel?
This 4th book wraps up the story line with the country finally being able to start to repair the damage that the supernova created.
I will not give up the ending but I will tell you this:
I started this book late last night probably near midnight with the intention of just reading a "bit". I read straight thru the night and finished about 5am this morning. I would have finished earlier if I had not been crying so hard as I read.
A higher reccomendation I can not give.

This book was a perfect end to a series of great books! The series made me contemplate...the possibility of energy shortage and how I might survive victoriously!
I was reminded, once again, that God is our strength in any situation!
I have been reminded...preparing ahead for disasters, is very important...more now than ever!

This book keeps your attention the whole way through. Be prepared for the shocking ending
Good book. Surprise twists & turns. Lots of action.
In Dawn's Light, Terri Blackstock finishes the tale of a family who are caught up in life as they never imagined it. How exciting to read this fictional account of how God works in people's lives. Terri Blackstock know how to tell a story!
This was the best series of books that I have read in a long time.
The series is about a family who had to learn how to cope without electricity when it went out all over the world. How they depended upon God and each other It is a book that made me stop and think and realize how blessed I am. It is about hard work, each person pulling their weight, murder, romance and anything else dealing with daily living. Book 4 is when the lights come back on and it was very emotional for me.
I highly recommend the series but do start with book 1.

It is a page turner, but the ending was a little hard for me to take.
Final book in the Restoration series - very good. Would we do as well if we were in the same situation? This series makes you think.
Might be my favorite of the series! Very powerful! Deals with issues that we as God's children sometimes struggle with when it comes to life and death and suffering. Does not gloss over with pat or lip service answers when there's pain in our hearts and we don't understand why God's allowing it. There were times when I was crying and just had to stop a minute and talk to God about what I was feeling.
Very Real Emotions! There wasn't a single character that I didn't feel like I knew personally. I think it wraps up the story very nicely. I haven't cared for Terri Blackstocks other books, but this series grabbed me from chapter 1 book 1. Very realistic in my opinion.
This one I might consider a keeper, but because of it's powerful message, I feel like it needs to be passed on.

Follows in the story from the previous books in the series. It is sad, though.
One of T Blackstock best......read all the restoration series.....highly recommended!!
Another Blackstock great book! Recommended to all of her fans!
