I am a big Nora Roberts fan; however, I can tell by reading this novel that it's one of her early works because it doesn't contain the character development of her latest novels. Still, it's a nice easy read for a lazy Sunday afternoon. The basis of the novel is that BJ Clark, the protagonist, runs a small, charming and old-fashioned inn, and sparks begin to fly when hotel tycoon Taylor Reynolds comes to town to modernize her inn and destroy its uniqueness. A typical happy ending ensues.
