Another great book by Frances Mayes; having read all of her books. She continues to write of Tuscany in her wonderful style. This book tells some of Tuscany, some of her personal life, and contains recipes; those eaten with friends at celebrations in Italy. Frances Mayes' random inclusion of Italian words has given me a few words to learn of the language! This book is also rich in cultural and art history of Italy, especially of the Tuscany region. A great read!
