Mari D. (luv2cnewthings) reviewed Dead Ever After (Sookie Stackhouse, Bk 13) (Large Print) on + 55 more book reviews
The last book in the Sookie Stackhouse series and as I've said on other review sites: Kind of glad for it since it was beginning to become difficult remembering who from what in the entire series.
Nonetheless...we pick up just about where we left off in "Dead Reckoning." Sookie has used the cluvel dor to revive Sam, which makes Eric sullen and perhaps even pushes him into a deadlocked decision.
Meanwhile, Arlene Fowler was bailed out of jail by an underworld lawyer, only to be found dead a few days later with circumstantial evidence leading to Sookie. From here the story takes flight with just about everyone trying to help Sookie. Ultimately, the book ends with (as the title suggests) as close to a "happily ever after" as this girl will ever get.
