Providing astrological advice for the lovelorn is balm for the spirit, but unfortunately for Stell the Stargazer, not very fruitful for the pocket, so she's moonlighting as the assistant director for the local production of the The Garden of Edne. And with a title like that, she shouldhave know there would be problems: an axious producer, a temperamental cast, a stage mother from hell. So when the stage mother who is also the producer is found bare alive and tied to a Venus glytrap prop by a cord around her neck, then a real corpse shows up and the show takes a dramatic turn to murder. It is up to Stella the Stargazer to find the killer and keep from becoming a victim herself.

Stella the Stargazer books by Christine Jorgensen are such a fun read, from her wacky friends to the real love of her life - a gecko named Fluffy and his ladylove, Lips, who has just laid a gecko egg. Jorgensen's books will make the reader laugh while trying to figure out "who dunnit."

Jorgensen endows her heroine (Stella) with a combination of savvy and the foolishness that makes her just right...And a good mystery to boot...
