Inspector Morse, what else can you say. Great writting, wonderful insight into a lonely, but not alone mans world.

The fifth Chief Inspector Morse/Sgt. Lewis book. A woman that Morse met at a cocktail party some months earlier and was attracted to but didn't pursue is found hanged in her home in Jericho. Was it suicide as everyone assumes, and if so, why did she do it? It's not even Morse's case or in his jurisdiction, but he gets involved because he chanced to visit the woman the day she died and was seen by a neighbor there. As usual, an excellent read with a good mystery and an ending I didn't see coming even though I've read the book before.
A Good one for all Morse fans.
