This was a fun read, especially since it was based in San Francisco, my hometown. It was fun to read of the neighborhoods, hotels, and the fog. I thought it took long to handle all the characters in the 2nd third of the book, but maybe I was simply tired the nights I read it. The rich couple, the St. Georges, are ringers for Nick & Nora Charles. They provided a well-heeled ambience & sophistication in The City by the Bay.

A fun, engaging whodunit that kept me guessing until the end.

Ultra light and delicious....this book's mood is straight out of a snappy 1930's movie.

B&B hostess, Judith McMonigle Flynn and her closer than a sibling cousin Renie would be crazy to turn down a free, 1930s-themed South Pacific Island Cruise aboard the magnificent San Rafael, the pride of the Cuz Cruuises fleet. Unfortunately, the fabiulous pre-launch party is as far out to sea as the passengers are likely to get, after the body of their VIP host, Magglio Cruz, is discovered stuffed in the piano and the cruise is cancelled. Jusith and Renie are in once again in search of the murderer.

Like this book because it took place in San Francisco - where I live. Also the play on Nick, Nora and the dog from the old movies was fun
