For someone who has read the "Sleeping Beauty" trilogy and "Exit to Eden" and "The Story of O", this book disturbed me. I understand that a good novel should be gripping and moving, I get that. But I shouldn't feel a little vomit rise in the back of my throat. The underlying mystery of the 20 years missing father is based on pedophilia and incest. There were way too many vivid descriptions that fed way too much to my imagination that I didn't need, or want, to think of - I didn't need to read this kind of garbage and won't pick it up again. I'll be glad when it's off my bookshelf. Before you ask, yes I did finish it. I have never been able to just stop reading a book (maybe I believe it will get better by the end....). I can't even give this one a full star - 1/2 a star and not worth the trade credit.

Fabulous and suspenseful conclusion to the "Dead" trilogy. Once I started it, I could not put it down. If you are a romantic suspense fan, then you have to give this series a try.

Great series, could not put this book down. I was reading thru the book praying the entire time that the secret would be kept & everyone could go on living their lives as they have been. The suspense at the end of the book was unbeleivable...edge of your seat. The only thing that may stop someone from reading is it does deal with a pedophile, which is not a great topic to read about, but it didn't bother me enough to stop reading the book.
Great ending to the series. I really enjoyed the characters and their growth. :)

I loved this bbook. I have read several of her books and have enjoyed each one.
I must say this last book in the trilogy held me spellbound. Ms. Novak's characters are extraordinary in depth and feeling. I really fell in love with Clay Montgomery. This series is a must read ... just be prepared for an emotional ride. I have ordered more of her books. She is that good.
There are three books in this series and you must read them in order...once you read book one you cannot get to book two and three fast enough. These are the most captivating books...Dead Right is book three so please get one and two first and you will not sleep until you have finished!!!
This is a great trilogy. The kind of series that you wish there was another one just to see how they're all getting along
I loved this trilogy. I bought it for a relative and ended up keeping it and reading it myself.
Third and final book in the Stillwater Trilogy and as amzing as the first two. This is Madeline's story and Novak ties up all the loose ends as she deals with a tough but important subject matter.
This was a good ending to a sad story. As much as I liked the trilogy, I think the details of how the girls were molested and abused could have been eliminated. I found it hard to read through those parts and thought it was unnecessary. Other than that, the story was suspenseful and fast-moving.
Good conclusion to the series. I loved the characters and it was nice to see how things were resolved.
An amazing series! The tension never fades from one book to another....and this third one is just as riveting as the first.
A great ending to this series. I absolutely love Brenda Novak.
