Interesting plot and a believable main character make this a good, easy read. The killer's identity keeps you guessing until the end (I thought I had it figured out about halfway through, but I was totally wrong!).

Donna Anders' new book, a psychological suspense novel set in Seattle, features Lisa Mac Donough, whose husband has mysteriously disappeared while riding on a ferry boat, as she faces life on her own. Her world begins to gradually darken as she becomes suspicious about layoffs at the aircraft company where she works as a Human Resources expert. Despite the flourishing economy which produces many new orders, people are losing their jobs. Lisa investigates and stumbles upon evidence of corporate espionage. As her knowledge grows, so does her fear---she's being followed, and she can feel safe nowhere, not even in her high-rise condo. She wonders if there is anyone---even Seattle police officers---whom she can trust. Despite the increasing danger of her situation, she remains determined to find out who and what is behind this. Take a break from the hustle-bustle of the holiday season, settle down with a nice hot beverage---and listen for footsteps in the night! If you enjoy riveting suspense, this is your cup of tea.

If you love mystery/suspense books then this is another author to add to your list.
This is my 2nd book by this author. I enjoyed the first one immensely, except for being able to guess the "bad guy"; the writing was good enough to make me want to read another by this author.
I was so TOTALLY WRONG in my guess(es) of who the bad guy was! This makes me give this book a 5-star review!
Again, the author has an intense vision into the world of psychology, which makes the writing even more suspenseful. I will admit that there were a few times I felt the storyline was dragging, but the stun of the ending made me so glad I didn't give up!
