Well written and the mystery holds its own right up to the end of the story. Exactly what I love best in a mystery.
Washington Television reporter Tess Abbott jumps at the chance to uncover a politcal race in her hometown. A telephone call leaves her reeling. The unsettling message brings back childhood nightmares. when a local man turns up dead with persona information about Tess in his possesion, It is obvious there is a connection between Tess' past and the election.
Tess Abbott's father supposedly killed her mother and then commits suicide in prison. But then she receives an anonymous phone call that states he didn't murder her mother or commit suicide. She leaves her job at TV reporter to go investigate.
