Brenda Gunn, co-author of this book, relates the riveting story of her romance and marriage to the man of her dreams. The handsome man who swept her off her feet and married her seemed too good to be true - and was. An ex-con, her husband Glen, and his unbelievable accomplice, almost carried out Brenda's murder for her sizeable life insurance policy. This lady proves that not only cats have nine lives. The horror she lived through and survived is too strange NOT to be true. I could not put this book down until I finished it.

True story of a woman set up by her so called best friend and a man she fell in love with. Very sad, All she wanted was someone to love and for them to love her. Unbeleivable the things she survived.

Wow, what a story this author has to tell! I was up until 1:00 in the morning as I just had to know how her story would end. There is a GREAT surprise nearly three-quarters of the way into this book, one I was totally NOT expecting. My only regret is that the author doesn't quite answer all the open questions in my mind, but I guess that is part of the reason why this book is so intriguing. You should love this!

Starting reading at 6:30 P.M and had to force myself to finally put it down at 4 A.M! Before I reached the end, I came to the same conclusion as Sheriff Dan Gilbert. There is definitely more here than meets the eye!
