The best of the trilogy but that's about all I can say for it. I've read four books by this author and only sought out this one to complete the series. All four books were nearly identical. Just change names and locations. This author lacks imagination and creativity. She has simply found a story line that works for her and is running with it.

This third in the trilogy kept me guessing for quite a while, until I had to take a peak at the end to be sure of my suspicions. Enjoyed it very much. I actually think this is the best of the three in this series.

The first two books were pretty repetitive. Guy and girl, one doesn't like the other, but somehow they end up together and solve a crime after girl is in peril. In the end boy marries girl.

The 3rd book in this series was a tad bit different but the formula was pretty much the same.

All in all I still did enjoy reading them.

What a disappointing book. The first two in the trilogy were really good but this one was so far fetched to the point of being ridiculous. The plot wasn't all that great compared to the other two. I certainly wouldn't be inclined to read another book about the Flynn brothers after this one.

In this story, we're introduced to Irish folklore. We hear about spells, magic, and banshees. This is the third story in the Flynn Brothers ("Deadly") Trilogy. It's Zach's story, as an investigator and with a new romantic interest, and takes place mainly in Rhode Island. Zach is called in to help find out why a close elderly family friend became suddenly very sick. Since the doctors were unable to locate a cause, foul play is definitely a possibility. At the same time his friend became violently sick, the friend's business partner (who's been hunting for buried treasure)went missing. Again, foul play is possible.

There's a long list of people involved in the story. So, at first it was difficult to figure out who the culprit might be. However, about 1/2 way thru the book, I figured most of it out, and the ending wasn't too much of a shock.

The action in the book moved quickly and it didn't take long to read it. However, I still enjoyed the first book in the trilogy more than "Deadly Gift" or "Deadly Harvest."

Although this is my first try at a "spiritual" romance, I must say it wasn't all that bad. You are truly left guessing till the end (which oddly helped me with the next book I read). A great mystery. A great romance and a wonderful twist. Ms Graham keeps you turning the page till the end, and you'll love the end! Worth it! 4 STARS!!

Very graphic in her descriptions. You need to enjoy crime stories to enjoy this.

#3 of Flynn Brothers trilogy - bit slower than #1 & #2, but still interesting.

A paranormal romance/mystery. Apparently it is part of a trilogy, but it reads perfectly well on its own.

From back cover:
An outsider in a world of extraordinary wealth, Caer Donahue must learn who can be trusted... and who should be feared.
Caer is spending this Christmas among strangers. Brought to Newport, Rhode Island, from her native Ireland to nurse ailing millionaire Sean O'Riley, she's living a life few can imagine. But money can't hide the tension between O'Riley's trophy wife, his paranoid daughter, the eccentric aunt in the attic and the staff members who run the house.
When O'Riley's business partner goes missing, family friend Zach Flynn arrives. Determined to help him solve the case, Caer becomes enmeshed in a mystery that weaves together the sins of the past with one family's destiny and a spirit that watches the mansion, possessing a deadly gift.

When Millionaire Sean O'Riley and his young wife travel to Ireland, he becomes deathly ill. Signs say he may have been poisoned, so Nurse Caer Cavannaugh is assigned to take care of him. Sean's daughter believes someone is trying to kill him, so she called Private Investigator Zach Flynn, asking him to bring her father home. Zach starts looking into the situation and finds that Sean's friend and business partner has disappeared, his sailboat found abandoned. Now Zach and Caer must try to keep Sean out of harms way before the killer strikes again.

This is the third book in the Flynn Brothers trilogy. It suffers from a weak (boring) mystery, and a lukewarm romance. The paranormal aspects of the story were laughable, and the book needed a good editor to catch several glaring mistakes. I ended up skimming the second half of the book. My rating: 1.5 Stars.

It was slow going. There was finally some interesting moments towards the end of book, but it wasn't enough for me to rate it higher.

Disappointing ending to an otherwise good trilogy. Plot and characters were weak and uninteresting.

While visiting Ireland with his second wife, millionaire Sean O'Riley becomes ill. He recuperates enough to go home, but hires local Nurse Caer Cavannaugh to help him as he returns to States and heals at home.

Sean's alarmed daughter Kat believes the trophy wife wants her dad dead so she can insure her inheritance before Sean wisely cuts her off, but she lacks hard core proof. When Sean's partner Eddie Ray disappears, Kat asks her friend private investigator Zach Flynn to make inquiries. Zach finds no motives for either killing one partner or for the vanishing of the other. Caer assists him on his investigation, but as they fall in love, she hides from him a secret that impacts the case and will end their relationship.

The concluding Flynn brothers' "deadly" romantic suspense (see DEADLY NIGHT and DEADLY HARVEST) is a terrific finish to a strong trilogy. The story line is fast-paced from the moment Sean arrives in Ireland and never slows down as Zach with Caer's aid investigates the business partners' sudden problems. However, what makes the story line is the secret that puts quite a twist to a tense private investigative romance.

A good book. Third in the Flynn Brothers series and held up to the standards of the first two. Enjoyed the story and found the characters interesting and believable. Recommend
