This book is the last (and final?) installment in the "Deadly" series from Brenda Joyce. She claims that she's taking a break for a wile but it is unclear if and when she'll return to this series. Some things are finally sewn up but things are also still left in the air which drives me batty as I adore this series and either want a clear ending or another book. This novel may not have the sex the rest of the series does but it makes up for it in heart and mystery. A definite read for the fans of the Deadlys! I would NOT reccomend reading this as a stand alone novel although it could be done - start from the beginning (Deadly Love) and you'll thank me later.

A fabulous ensemble of characters...for the reader who likes historicals, mysteries, and a dash of sensuality and romance thrown in...this definitely the book for you!
I'm a sucker for the Francesca Cahill series... Calder Hart in particular! I love so many of the characters and pairings here... I just wish we'd had more of Rourke and Sarah.
Mystery and romance. Lots of emotions play in this last installment of Francesca Cahill. Hope it doesn't take years to wrap all the story lines going on.
Another great installment in the Francesca Cahill series!
This is a fun series. Although a murder mystery it is in the vein of the "old fashioned" who-done-its of the time frame in which it is written, the turn of the 20th. century. I always enjoy this author and this series is like no other. In her notes she says she is taking a break from writing this series for awhile....I will miss Francesca and the gang. No-one else can get themselves into and out of predicaments quite like her!
great book ! you won't want to miss the lastest on Francesca and Hart!
A nice mix of romance and mystery.
Called to the home of her fiance Calder Hart's former mistress...bloodied body. Cahill is such fun.
Good book, waiting for the next.
love this whole series. best one yet
I haven't read this book yet. I bought one then received this one in the mail so I am posting it for someone else to enjoy.
This book is in great condition. However, there is a large tear in the front cover.
