In this engagingly unorthodox love story, Hassler once again demonstrates the fine, old fashioned gifts of solid storytelling, skillful character portrayal, and uinvarnished good writing that have won him a loyal following.

This is my first Jon Hassler book and it won't be my last. He's a wonderful writer who deserves more attention than he has received. The story is feel-good without being sappy, full of humor and human nature, believable. Handles adult subjects in a modern way without being objectionable. Don't pass it up!
