This is an absolutely delightful book that shows how characters can have a different view of the same situation by depicting the main character's thoughts in black and white while showing a more realistic picture in color. Ike, the canine companion of Mrs. Larue, uses hyperbole and a typewriter to try to convince Mrs. Larue that his punishment of a term in obedience school is unjust because his behavior was misunderstood. The clever illustrations make this a great read for all.
