An easy, light read based in NW MN and the first of the "Otter Tail County" mystery series. I've lived in MN all my life. Otter Tail County and Fergus Falls are real. There is a college in Fergus Falls but it has a different name than what is in the book. Early on, a host for a dinner party is murdered. While the investigation goes on, the remainder of the book is primarily a look back at all the guests and their fraught relationships with the victim. I had a suspicion of who the killer might be and was correct.
